does anyone know how to create a 1 point perspective section?  I saw it once in a Revit gallery and can't find it in the tutourial or anywhere else.

There is actually no such thing as a 1 point perspective.  Its just that generally the other vanishing point is so close to horizontally its not counted...

You need to turn on the section box in the perspective view in order to do this (in View properties).
