I've inherted a model that has walls windows and storefront systems all mixed up 3 different worksets. - Workset 1 - Topo - and Rendering. I'm a newbie REVITeer and dont know how to move them all to the proper workset or if it matters. I assume it would matter when i unload the TOPO workset and some of my walls windows and storfront systems vanish.

Thanks for the help in advance -

Well the easiest way is to have one workset on, and do something to isolate the things that shouldnt be there.  Select all of them and the right click and go to "make elements editable"  Then go to the properties of them and change the workset to the correct workset.  They then should disapear if you only have 1 active workset turned on.  You should also be sure to do this in 3D not plan because of things like elevations, sections, and detail componants that dont ride in a workset.  Hope that helps.  Let me know.  Go through that for all 3 worksets or how ever many you have.

thanks - from 3d model view I turned on 1 workset at a time - I had very few things actually required on the topo and rendering worksets so I just deleted the worksets moved everything to workset 1 and recreated the topo workset and moved the site topo and roads to the topo workset.

Thanks for the prompt response.
