I am having trouble seeing the autocad dwg. that I imported into revit. I imported several plans from autocad and initially there was no problem with any of them. Now only one of them I cannot see. Yes I have created floors in revit, but I am able to see all but one autocad floor plan that I imported. Is there somewhere I can make it so that I can see the floor plan?

If its been imported current view only change its draw order to foreground instead of background.  When you placed your floors they would've concealed the dwg.

how do I access the foreground or background option. Also I can see the autocad floor plan when I press the mouse to pan around the model. Its as if the autocad dwg is sitting below the floor that I made at that level. but when I view a section cutting through that floor the section shows that the autocad dwg is ontop of the created floor.

Okay if you can see it in 3D then it has NOT been imported current view only.  It has been imported on a level.  As such the only way to bring it in front of your floor is to physically move it up in elevation OR delete it and reimport it with the current view only option and then set it to foreground in its instance properties...
