I set up a camera in one of the bathrooms in my model and set the rendering settings for interior and did my normal custom settings.  The bathroom has glass doors that I can see through to the bedroom but the glass doors and windows to the deck that would show the exterior/outside are blacked out and I can't see through them at all.  I've checked the materials and their the same as the doors inside that I can see through any ideas as to why I can't see through the doors and windows that would shot outside but I can see fine through the interior glass doors?  Thanks!

Two things.

Try setting the doors as "daylights" or change you background colour for your rendering.  Is it set to black?

How do I get to the material setting for the glass panel in the glass doors?  I go to the element properties and it has the door panel and the door frame material but not the glass... all I can think of is maybe I messed with the glass material and made it a solid instead of a void or changed the material...

Mr. Spot I tried setting the doors to daylights one door I can see through in one room but the door in the other room is still just black.  Is the background color for rendering in the environment tab?

Is the door you can see through the door you set as a daylight?

Daylights are set instance based not type based...

Yes the background settng is in the environment tab.

I set both of them to daylights and I still didn't get anything different.  I'm just going to delete the wall and recreate everything to see if that changes anything.  Thanks for helping Mr Spot.

So some how the glass material got all messed up... I tried fixing it but it didn't work.  Is there a way to load the default materials into the project?
