I nearly went out of my mind trying to insert a cased opening by clicking on door (since it is in the door library) and trying to insert. After many aggrevating tries I found it had to go in as a component. So, what if you have a hollow metal frame and you want it on the door schedule? Do I have to model a hollow metal frame and put it in the door library? Barbara Bennett HagerSmith Designs Raleigh, NC

If there is an existing one already, you can edit the family and change the family category under settings. I'm there feeling you pain about the opening being under component. I have no idea why they would do that.
