I have a building that is mostly concrete. Walls, columns, beams and floors). Can Revit give me the total quantity of concrete? I tried exporting an ODBC database but it came up with only 321 CF with is about 11 Cubic yards and I know that is wrong. I tried creating a wall, framing, column and floor schedule but it will not give me the totals. When I try to total the schedule, all it tells me is that I have 276 walls.

I am doing a similar thing (see my post 6\29). You can create a Material Takeoff schedule to get the info you need (even yardage and cost/yard). There is a helpful tutorial in Revit 2008. (ps '08 tutorials have to be downloaded via specific instructions - see the help menu).
