revit 9.1

it would seem that you cannot assign a coarse scale fill color to topography like you can other elements? am i missing something? ideally what i would like to do is in the hidden line view have the topography display hatched (which is what i currently have) and shaded a medium grey tone. any ideas? i would settle for the ability to apply a coarse scale fill color.
