Can't see the room tags belonging to my linked file. Checked visibility settings in both host and linked file. What have I overlooked?

Has anyone found a solution to this? We've got the rooms and doors showing up in the schedule, but the tags don't seem to appear in the plan. Thanks!

We found a solution for plans - Go to Visibility Graphics --> Revit Links --> Display Settings. Select the option to display by linked view. If you select the corresponding level for the linked file, then the room tags will display. However, one can only select plan views. So if this model appears in elevation, there doesn't seem to be an equivalent way to display window tags in a linked elevation file for example.

I have a continuation to this problem.
So I did what you suggested and it did work but it shows the tags in the linked file.
And I don't have control to move them in my main file.
I would like to control the tags in the main file. For some reason one of the rooms I can tag in the main file normally. Even in the same view that one room is the only one that can have a tag.
Is there anyway to show these. The view range is all the same for the other views of the linked files and for some reason is showing in those ones. it's just a couple views where this happens.
The linke is also room bounding and is on the right workset.
Any help would be great
Thanks so much

You can contol the VG for linked files seperatly from your file. Read about that in yor HELP.
There is no way to adjsut / move itms in a linked file. That is ALL items. You can only turn the category on/off in linked views or individually hide elements.

Hi WW
I think you misunderstood or I didn't explain properly or I am not understanding your answer properly.
my problem is that in some of my other linked views I can tag the room in the main file. So moving the room tag around the room in the main file works. It is just in some of my views it is not letting me tag any rooms or it is not showing in the view.
I know you can't move around linked items in the main model.
It just seems like I have a roconcile hosting problem with my tags. It shows up as 2 question marks with the reconcile hosting symbol next to it.
If I reconcile the tag it just disappears and doesn't let me show the tag.
Like a orphaned tag.(As I read in another file)

Since we are architects, I have not had to tag linked objects. BUT ... The object has to be on in order to tag. A linked view is initially dependent on what is on in the linked view and you can only turn the category off if it was on. If it was never on, then I don't see how it can be tagged. Check the view in the original file and see what is on.
