How do you slope structural members such as steel girders. I'm doing a framing plan for a steel building using the families that came with Revit but they seem to be tied to the plane they were created in. Help! thanks, Formarch

Hi, This issue interests me because I am about to do sloped girders for a truss as well. But I would simply slope the plane if this is the case. I'll try it later. Thanks, Ben Bolivar

BTW, I remember that you can set the elevation of both end points so this should do the trick as well.

Simply draw a reference plane at the angle you wish to have the girders or joists at and set this as the work plane before drawing in the members.
