So.  I'd like to make stairs reminiscent of a green house.  This is what I have so far; what I can't figure out is how to make a roof that slopes along with the stairs.  Also, I was hoping to make the roof curved, which I know you can do by extrusion, but again, couldn't figure out how to get it to follow the line of the stairs.

You'd have to create a few roofs there to achieve it. To make it follow the same slope as the stairs, it's usually easiest to make the roof by extrusion and use the edit lines to match the stair slope. You can trim away the excess in plan view if things overlap what you want them to be. Not quite sure how you want a curved roof on those stairs though.

When all else fails, you could do a mass and convert to roof.

I think, you can try to built roof family using blend for the stair and another family using sweep in landing.

by my theory, it should work with a bit adjustment at the edge.

Good luck. and let me know if it don't work.
