Hello, I´m a student from germany working at my diplom thesis in Revit Structure 2008. Revit Structure is in Germany almost fameless and so there´s nobody who can answer to questions concerning Structure. I want to model a parking garage for visualisation and analytical calculation. The parking garage consists of structural columns with consols (brackets?!) and structural slabs. The structural slabs have a rectangular shape on the top and are supported on the consols in every of the four corners. On the bottom side of the slab there are ribs of concrete in x- and y- direction. You can see the structural slab is a very complex component. My Problem is how to model such a structural slab with a correct analytical model. This means the slab should carry loads on the slab to the support-consols below in the corners. I don´t know which family-template i should take for modelling. Is it better to take no family-template? I hope you understand my question and you can help me! Thank you regards gsus123
