Hi All, I have been trying to place non orthagonal dimensions with no success when measuring from wall joins. The tutorial has a TIP that you highlight the joined wall and tab through until a perpendicular appears at the join. When I tab the prefer snaps highlight but not one that enables me to dimension on an angle--- I can accomplish my goal by drawing reference lines perpendicular to the angled wall and measuring between them--- there must be a direct way to do it----any help wouldbe appreciated--- I can't believe I can't figure this out.--Thanks All

Are you using the non orthagonal dim tool or the standard? Basically you should be able to select the angled dim tool, then tab on the endpoint of the wall until it highlights the end point, then drag to the other end of the wall and tab until you get that endpoint. Or you can draw a line perpendicular to the wall, then dim from that to the endpoints, then remove the witness line to that line and delete.
