I would like to be able to show overhangs on my plans as a dashed line without having to draw it. I know this is possible to achieve with range visibility. But I'm not sure how to accomplish it. Does somebody know how to do this? Thanks,Terealva.

adjust your view range so you see the object, then use the linework tool to change the lines to overhead, then return your view range to the original setting.  Note if the object is deleted or modified the lines may need to be re done.

Go to the floor plan that you want to show the roof overhangs. Go to View Properties<Underlay<select level above eg Ceiling height. You may want to go to visibility setting and turn off gutters, fascias & roof surface pattern. Then use linework tool and pick the roof edge.

You could also Underlay the upper level then go to Visibility & change the roof to the line type you want.
