I am trying to create enlarged plans and elevations for the kitchen. How can i crop the floor plan down to the kitchen on the sheet without effecting the actual floor plan. I have tried checking off the crop region and crop region visible boxes. I modified those on the sheet, but when i went back to my floor plan, it was cropped also. Does this mean that I have to create dupicate views for specific sheets? (i hope not)... any advice would help, thanks!

Okay, I think you may still be thinking it AutoCad way's here.

Generally you would create a "callout" (accessible from the views tab) of the kitchen.

However, you can also duplicate the view and crop it as necessary.

Unlike autocad you are working with a model and your floor plans/elevations/callouts/sections/details are just various views of the model.  Duplicating the view does not mean you have twice as much to co-ordinate (unless you have drawn all the kitchen with detail lines, in which case group the linework and then paste it into your second view).
