I just use plain windows...

Alt+Print Scn prints active window to clipboard.

Ctrl+PrtScn prints entire screen to clipboard.

Then just paste the screenshot into a program like paint/word/etc.  I use Photoshop CS2.

You should try  IRFANVIEW      I have been using this software for free, and has been for years. It is a simple image viewer, not an extensive tool like photoshop though.  For viewing and re-sizing, cropping, and converting files, or batch renaming files it can't be beat.It beats the Windows way of screenshot because :    1.  you can save as any kind of file,     2.  you don't need to open word and then re-size, then use word's limited tools to manipulate the image.     3. you can set whatever keys you want to initiate a "capture"    4. you can set a bunch of options as to what it should capture (foreground, whole screen, include mouse cursor, etc...  5. it can save automatically to a directory the file type you choose beforehand, which cuts out some steps and makes screenshots of multiples very easy.  6. the program is so light, it is only a few mB, and loads up in 2 seconds.Do a google search for irfanview.  I have no qualms with this program whatsoever.TO CAPTURE:When you get the program, go to the "OPTIONS" menu, then select "CAPTURE"   to set the capture parameters.  I set mine to CTRL + f12, because I can do it without looking down.       No one likes to read instructions, so there you go to get it started.240
