I need to build a component that turns a square corner into a mitered corner. The hard part is cutting out the existing wall. My original was a wall based corner but it only cut one of the two walls and was a real hastle to copy up to the next floor, would not find host crap. I am using a generic right now but have to go back and split and delete wall ends manually somtimes 100's per floor. Can't seem to get Void to cut the walls. HELP. Thanks

My apologies if I'm not following 100%. It sounds like you're trying to do something similar to a corner window? I got this corner window family from here in the downloads http://revitcity.com/downloads.php?action=view&object_id=3635 I downloaded it and tried it and at first I couldn't get both walls to cut. But I tried again and got it. You have to place it just right. Mine was placed just a touch towards the outside of the exterior part of the wall. Hope this helps. If not quite what you were talking about, you could post a screenshot and the family.

I agree might be posible to make a window work. Tried it once don't have time to study it right now but will later it is a reverse of what I am after. Here is what I am using. It is 2 bends in a peice of dimond plate. a 4" at the top and 2-12" at the bottom. I need to be able to place and clean up thousands of these each day, and trimming maually is not cutting it: Punny huh.
