I am trying to show the roof joists in the areas of the rcp that have no ceiling. I have adjusted the view planes but that hasn't worked. Any suggestions? Thanks, Paul

Is the category you used for your joists on in the view? If you used structural components, you probably have to set your view resolution to Medium or Fine as most structural components only have a 'stick' view at course resolution.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't have the structural framing check in the view graphics. There are so many different places to do things in Revit it can be a little confusing at times. Can you suggest any good books to help in the learning process.

i'm just trying to add an exposed beam in my reflected ceiling plan. can any one help. i just started using revit.
