Hi  Cuts on concrete members are ignored.  This occurs when I amend walls & columns. The error highlights a concrete downstand beam that is totally unrelated to the edited items. the beam is not cut in any way. Ii's set out from the top of the slab but is not joined. There are cut holes in the slab but well away from the beam.   What does Remove Coping mean? If I click it nothing appears to happen as the error returns late on.  I want to emphasise the independence of these entities - floors apart.  Any help in removing this annoyance would be helpful. ThanksDave F.

Looks like just one of the many issues that Revit seems to have.  I've never seen this before, but what it appears to be is just a Warning, rather then an "error".  It gives you the option to just hit ok and keep working, if it doesn't affect you're model or mess anything up, then I wouldnt worry about it.  Revit gives many warnings while working on a project to let users see that there might be a potential concern somewhere, some are more severe then others, and this one seems unnessacary.

It seems from the help file that coping is what in the UK is known as notching - cutting the flanges of _steel_ beams so that they can be connected to one anther. The beam it referes to is concrete!!!  Weird eh?  Dave F.
