This is a somewhat out-of-program question but none the less a revit question, I think. Here on RevitCity in the downloads section you have pictures of the objects available for download. How is it that you do to "export" these from the program. As I myself would like to do that with some of my own objects.

When you are ready to save a new family, do a save as .... at that poit choose the options & check the box that says generate graphics if view/sheet is not up-to-date.

Sounds like a good idea but when i test it i still just get a .rfa file. Shouldnt i get another one for the graphic?

The best thing of all would be if i could get pictures of the objects i .jpg format. Is that at all possible?

If you want just a jpeg image, select your view and do a ..... file/export/image.
