Hi

2 questions about shortcuts:

1. As the text file for them resides in C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit Structure 4\Program, does that mean if someone logs on & uses Revit on my machine they use my shortcuts?

If true, is there a work-a-round?

Wouldn't it have been useful to put them in the user sections of Document 7 Settings? 

2. I use Textpad as my text editor. unfortunately it does something to the text file& when reloaded none of the shortcuts work. Any ideas why?

1. Yes it is true that Revit does not have user profiles.  This means that you have to use login scripts to copy your keyboard shortcut file around from a central location.  Same applies to revit.ini file.  Revit need to 'grow up' a bit in this area if it wants mass adoption in larger firms.

2.  I use notepad which is the safest bet.  Be sure that what ever text editor you are using saves in pure ASCII no formatting.
