I'am a  new user and wondering if this program is what I need. I draw highend furniture and need to import very

detailed parts for a strong presentation .

Revit Architecture is designed to model and document building construction.

Is it right for you?  Nobody will be able to tell you that for certain.  That is why you can download the program for free and try it out in 'demo' mode and if you want to save your work activate the free 30 day trial.

Revit is a modeling program, yes, but it sounds like you might need a high end modeling program like Max. There are some great mesh modeling programs for very little money, like Rhino, or some excellent free ones like blender.

Revit I think does wonderful things with building design and quite fast compared to some of these mentioned.
