Is there any way to have a blank grid bubble? I need to have the bubbles filled out on the plans, but blank in the sections. The only way I have now is to not show the grids, and use detail lines to fake them in. I would prefer to just have them filled, but that is a standard that is proving difficult to change in my office.

To 'dumb down' your grids in section yuo could make a dummy detail component that has a filled region that covers up the live grid number. Al least you could align and lock this detail componet to the real grid so that if the grid moves the dummy grid moves as well. Of course none of this would be required if people just let Revit be Revit and not try to beat it into matching their arbitrary old fashioned CAD standards.
