Ive created an in place sweep.  The sweep was created in the East view.  I've found I need to change the sweep profile.  When I try to edit it, the existing profile is not visible, and any new geometry I create gets a "the element created is not visible..." warning.   It's not even visible in the 3D view.  However, I can edit the path when in the East view only.

 There is also another sweep I created in the plan view.  I can't edit that path in ANY view, not even plan.  Nor can I edit the profile on that one in any view.

 I have made sure that the mass category that I used for the in-place mass is visible in all views. I can also see the created mass in all views - just not the pink-colored path line or editable profile line.  The black place holder path line and profile lines ARE visible, however.  They go away when I click "sketch 2d path" or "sketch 2d profile."

 Any ideas?

Sounds like you have "lines" turned off in your visibility settings-->Model tab.  They need to be turned on in order to see your sketch.

Check this.
