Is there anyway to create print defaults per project.  Everytime I close my projects the printer defaults to my computers default (which 90% of the time is not the project setting) and I have to reset again and again, which is a waste of time and annoying.

You can do a "print setup" and save your settings or use your default system setup which would automatically select your printer and it's settings.
