Could someone please help me to frame a sloped roof in revit.  I'd like to model each framing member as we have exposed rafter tails and this doesn't show up  when using the roof command.  I've read about chosing the underside of the roof as your work plane, which I haven't tried yet, but I was also wondering what people are using the build these roofs.  When I use dimensional lumber I can't notch it or cut the ends to get the profile I want.  Do most people draw their own extrusions?  I would greatly appreciate any help that you can offer.  Thanks in advance!
