is there a way to renumber tags so that i can insert a couple of new elevations without having to go into each tag?

Which tag's are you talking about? For drawing sheet information, i usually create a drawing list and make the changes from there...

I see that it is called a viewport tag when i pick the properties button. it describes the referenced sheet number and elevation name. pgrimmi
