HI ALL. I'M HAVING SOME TROUBLES MAKING LARGER LINE WEIGHTS IN A TITLEBLOCK.  EVEN IF I GO TO SETTINGS AND PUT IN A NEW LINE WEIGHT, IT DOES NOT UPDATE IN THE PULL DOWN MENU AS IT NORMALLY WOULD WHEN A PROJECT FILE IS OPENED. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

DAN

I have a question about titleblocks as well.  I am trying to make the text in the title block darker and when I go the the properties of that text and change the line weight from a 1 to a 6 and then reprint the titleblock it looks exactly the same as it did before.  Anyone know what I am doing wrong or how to make the titleblock text darker?  Thanks.

Line weight is not a property of text size .... it was when we used pens.  Text darkness is a property of the text font and text size.

I am using RomanS text because it is what the client requires, so is there anything else I can do to make it darker besides changing its size? Thanks.

under settings->lineweights create larger line weights.  But this has to be done prior to going into your project file.  If you have already loaded it into your project, then your project's settings override your lineweights, so go into settings->object styles, find the lines under annotations that you are using, and change their weight there...
