Can a template file be a central file already? I am trying to get my new employer's template up and running. One of the summer interns who has some Revit experience created a template file that I would like to use as a base to build on. He saved it as a central file. Can this be used to start a new project/central file and saved to a new central file name without screwing up the central file template?

Yes. I haven't actually tried setting up a template with worksets already enabled?? Our workflow starts without worksets where someone setups the basis of the model and then a project team is involved so worksets are then added. It would be annoying having them already enabled if you ask me. But as long as you do a "save as" and check the option for make this the central file it will have no link back to the template file and won't screw it up. HTH.
