when inserting label parameters in my titleblock, how do you create new label pararmeters that are diiferent from the box shipped names so they appear on the drawing sheet list. i.e. plot date, revised date, we use different wording from what they ship. do i need to use what they ship or can i change them. i would think you can add them but i may be wrong. thanks in advance pete

yes, you can use different wording if you like. when you go to place the label a box will pop up entitled "select parameter" if you're doing a date stamp then chose the date/time stamp. If you don't want the time to show, delete it from the sample text... you can use a text note to specify it as a plot date or revised date. It would help a lot if I knew exactly what you are trying to do...

i fiddled with so much this morning i figured it out. what i was needing to have happen was when i made a sheet index, i wanted the parameters i made to show up as fields that i could list on my index schedule. i did it by making new groups then setting parameters and they then were in my label choices which became my fields in the index.

So you were setting up a sheet schedule in your titleblock? Perhaps I misunderstand what you were saying... :-)
