Morning All,I am about to attempt to create a workset for the first time. As I understand it, this will allow multiple users to work concurrently on the same project (central file), albeit on seperate "elements".My question is this.... Can the various different team members, each with their own workset, create sheets which can then be saved back to the central file, or can they only edit the elements allocated to their workset? - I have created the model almost to completion but what now needs doing is the creation of sheets that will show the 50+ elevations and almost as many seperate floor plans. As such, the different members will be altering views and creating sheets OF the model but not actually editing or adding any elements IN the model itself. Is this possible, or must they be created in the central file or on one local file?Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.Matthew Davenport

I work for an MEP consulting firm and we have just recently (2 months) started using Revit MEP. So far we have not had any problems with multiple users creating and modifying sheets at the same time, as long as they are each in a seperate workset. I hope this helps.

Sheets and views all have their own worksets anyway by default (you can't actually set this, its built in).

It doesn't matter which file the views and sheets are modified in but preferably no one should work directly on the central file.  A local copy should always be created.

So yes this is fine and common practice.
