cant see the lines in the plank flooring in render (raytrace) . i can see them in (shades with edges) when accurender

is applied and lines can be altered in direction, but cant see lines in (raytrace). could it be line wight ?? help

Check the material you have on the floor as it may not have any join lines.

The lines that you see in the shaded with edges mode are surface pattern lines within Revit controled by the material you have assigned to the object.  These surface pattern lines will not appear when you render the scene.  The Accurender material you assign to the Revit material controls the rendering image.  you need to make sure the Accurender material contains an accurate representation of the material and you may need multiple versions of Accurender materials to control their rotation as they get applied to Revit surfaces.  This is similar to a UVW mapping in  Viz/Max but has to be performed on a material basis in Revit.
