I have made a fold out clothes line. The model works fine but I have been trying to add symbolic lines for the hanging lines in plan view. I don't know what I am doing wrong but I can't seem to get the lines to array & stay constrained to the length. It should be simple but I don't know what I am missing. Thanks

Hey! As you said it was quite simple. You were on the right track by nesting a line family and arraying it but always remember, when in a lengthier array get the second member to last point by checking last option... next step is select the item brought to the other endi and go to edit group , pick it again and align it to the references - horizontal and vertical . this way you ensure that you have both your guides of the array behaving well so that rest of the array members follow the alignment too. Only one member alignment does not suffice. and always try to nest array components. In place solida are troublesome. Attached is the array group that i completed in your family.I tested it too and it works fine..Try using detail lines for plan representations..as model lines show up in 3D until and unless you want them to show up. All the best Pragati
