I am trying to custom create a hatch pattern for use as a surface pattern for a certain project. The pattern is similar to on that RevitCity has available for download (24x4 running Bond Stone 3030) now instead of the 24 x 4 what I need to use is the 24" x 6" and the coarsing we are interested in needs to be offset 6" in every row.

Does anybody know if there are any pattern file editors out there, which will enable me to edit / create my own patterns visually. (without writing any code.)

Any direction would be much appreciated.

Thank you

yessir. hatchkit seems to be what everyone likes. draw what you want on the screen and it does it for you.

after it creates your file, you might need to jump into the file editor and tell it to be a model hatch or drafting hatch. it's simple to do so don't worry too much about that.

You could also edit your existing one if it's not too complicated.

Thank you Frameman.

I am in the process of creating my file in hatchkit 2.6. How do you get into the file editor and change the model hacth to the drafting hatch?

To change the hatch type just edit your created file with a text editor.
