Hello all!I live in New Zealand and considering going to Dubai for a couple of years to work.  Im just wondering what it is like to work/live there? is Revit common? all that general kind of stuff. Any help would be well recieved!!

i am from ws atkins, a design consulting company and i am from bahrain office. for what i heared, atkins dubai is starting to adopt revit on their drawings recently but up to moddeling only while here in atkins bahrain we went full blast in adopting this cute software (from modelling to documentation, from concept to construction design stage). i am currently looking for other company who is atleast 50% adopted the revit (all deciplene) because here in bahrain, there's a handful of technicians who knows and use revit, making the half of our current projects revitized.

the current situation now in our office is only one person knows and operate revit on each department and in my case, im the structural revit modeller. just recently one of the two revit architectural modeller has been terminated (due to recession) making the number of revit user in our office reduced to 3 (one in each department of building services). in our department (structural department) we are  evangelizing my 2 fellow technician in revit world but it seems they have long way to go (just like me when i am starting this amazing software) to fully depend them because they are autocad wizards (i said wizard because they started their careers in drafting when autocad is not yet in the world and pencil and papers are the main materials for producing design drawings, meaning they are deeply rooted on manual and autocad software)

anyway i am looking for more adventure in revit, just let me know if you are looking for a revit modeller around middle east
