One of my designers has created a sweep for a wall from the base of his wall up to about 5'-0". He is wanting to copy the sweep from one wall type to the other wall types.

Is this possible? or is there a way to copy a group of sweeps/reveals from one wall (say export) to other wall types (to insert)? Other than manually adding the one sweep into each wall type individually.

This would be a good wish list item.

Thanks

Depends on how he created the sweep.  Is it built into the wall type?  Is it hosted?  If it's hosted then it's as easy as just applying it to the wall you want (personally, if the sweep is going to change or may be added to/removed from other walls later, I always use a hosted sweep.  Much easier to manage).  If it is built into the wall, then it should be as easy as duplicating the wall and changing the material and structure properties of the wall to match the walls you want to add the sweep to (make sense?).  Then simply replace the walls you want to add the sweep to with the new wall t ype you created with the sweep built into it.

HTH, good luck!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!
