Hi All,I am fairly new to Revit and although I seem to have been managing fairly well so far I have come across my first real "stumper". I have printed numerous help and tutorial topics from within Revit but have only managed to confuse myself even more!I need to create a composite type curtain wall that will have a variety of panels within it seperated by mullions. I need to create it so that I can use it repeatedly over a large site and will also need to "hand" or "flip" it for some instances. It will consist of (probably) an irregular layout of a powder coated metal panel, fixed glazed panels and an openable "window". I understand that I will be able to alter materials for each of the panels if necessary once created, but obviously need to be able to create the thing first. Attached is a picture showing the proposed "panel". If anyone could either advise me on the required process or point me in the direction of an existing, simple to understand, tutorial I would be extremely grateful.Regards,Kwiffboy

First - I would not confuse this by calling this a "composite curtain wall".  This is not like a composite wall.  It's a curtain wall with different mullion spacings and panel types.

Are you asking how to edit a curtain wall to the configuration you are showing?  If so, this is easy to do - just follow one of the curtain wall tutorials and change the panels to what you want.  You will probably have to make a family for your operable panel.

Once created, you can copy and mirror the whole curtain wall to new locations.

Just remember.  If you are doing this as a curtain wall, it is a wall - not a window.  If you have a wall in the same area, you will have to cut it manually.

You can make a curtain panel family that follows your sketch and then only define the major vert/horiz grids.  This keeps the curtain down to fewer elements and easier to control.

There are some examples of a more complex curtain wall panel out on the Revit Web Library site.  When you are loading a family, click on the WebLibrary button or go to:

http://revit.autodesk.com/library/html/index.html

Look under Curtain Wall Panels
