i am a newcomer to revit and work for a structural engineer that wants truss made and i have tried but cant seem to get them to work. a tutorial would help me out alot

I've never made a truss, but I would suggest opening one of the structural families that comes with Revit and disecting it to see how they did it.

I'm pretty sure there is already a truss tutorial built into revit... I know there was in version 5, not sure about 7.0... Have a look.
