I've been using Revit for about a month now.  Just getting to know it really.  I'm using it on a new project, and it's working out great!  I'm trying to do the roofs but it wont slope.  Anything i do to create a roof makes a flat one.  I can get it to slope if i put a slope arrow, but then it only slopes one way, and i can't even control that slope.

In Properties, it shows where i can call out the slope, but it is grayed-out.  What am i doing wrong.

go edit your roof, the purple lines show up, right? the roof edge you want sloped, pick the line. on the bar above you, there's a check box "defines slope" when you check that, perpendicular to that line is the slope of the face, so you will need to do the opposite side to get both to slope.

pick one of the lines, then the slope size should show up also right next to the line i.e. 8" for 8/12 or also in your properties where the greyed out part is now.

no need to feel that way, we were all where you are at right now. I'm glad I could help.
