I had a dream last ngiht about developing a list of all our custom families we have been developing at the firm here.  The would include things like name, decription, what's parametric, tips and pointers, and a 3d image of the family.  Ideally the user would be able to search (and sort) using key words and when they found the item they needed they would be able to hyperlink or something by clicking on it to load the family in to their drawing. 

Anyone ever done this before or have any idea the best way to go about this?  How can I get the image into Excel.  Would Excel be better then Acess?  I dont think many people here know who to use access.  Thanks in advance!!

I have not used it yet, I'm just keeping my eye on it as it has potential.  It would be nice if a family explorer was simply built into Revit from the get go though.
