I finally found out how to edit the tick marks on dimensions. I select heavy ended tick marks and blammo they disappear! Any help. I want something that applies a heavier lineweight to the tick mark...seems it should work but it doesn't thanks in advance. -

Well, I can get the blasted things to show up . . . but they're flat rather than angled. DRIVING ME CRAZY!

For what it's worth, revit 2011 has the SAME PROBLEM. Cool heavy end tick marks . . . but flatter than crap. I've attached a pic so you can see how wonderful they look.

when you selevt the prop for the dimension string, selct edit type and set the tick mark line weight to something larger than the number that is in that selection box. also check to make sure you do not have your drawing set to thin line.

Tick Mark Line Weight is grayed out (unavailable option). Not working in thin line mode (see attachment)

i have mine set to dia 1/8" and i can set my tick mark line wt. but when i switch it to heavy ended i lose the abitily to adjust the tick mark. so what i did was set my tick mark to 6 on 1/8" dia and then switched it to heavy ended and the tick mark line wt is 6.
