Jhui active Joined: Fri, Feb 9, 2007 69 Posts No Rating	Does Revit have a type of shelving component that can easily create custom-type shelves? And by easy, I don't mean going in to create a new family type everytime. I mean, simply telling Revit you would like a shelf thats # rows x # columns and each box is Y x Z.

You need to create a family that will follow your instructions as far as the number of rows and columns are concerned. Look for any posts that mention repeating details and check out the families that were posted. I know I've seen a post relatively recent. I'm not 100% sure how to do it, I've never had to do one.
