I am creating a site plan for a building project in Revit 9.1, and am using subregions of an overall topo region to show paved areas. I want to add fill patterns to the paved areas, but Revit does not support surface patterns on topo surfaces. I thought of re-tracing the areas with filled regions, but it does not allow me to pick the edges of the subregions to create filled area boundaries. Does anyone know of a way to create hatched areas that will be locked to the edges of the subregions so they reflect any changes to the subregions automatically? Thanks for the help.

I played with this a bit and I don't have any good answers for you If the paved area is pretty close to it's final location, may as well just trace as close as you can with the filled region. Sorry for the bad news :\

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |
