How can I make a wall out of CMU and cover that with a rock face? I can use the brick on CMU but cannot seem to find a way to do it with rock. Any suggestions? Thanks

If you need a hatch pattern for drafting views, you can create new from the materials dialogue|surface pattern. Browse for a .pat file that fits your needs. Cultured stone (owens-corning) offers a bunch and i think they are still free. If you want the stone to render, use the accurender materials OOTB, not much to pick from though. If you want more options, go to www.accustudio.com

What I think you want is a CMU wall that has a Stone Facade attached to the front of it. ( Exterior one would need airspace?) Go to the wall ELEMENT BOUNDARIES and ADD a Stone Wall ( 4" thick or whatever ) to outside of the Core Boundary on the EXTERIOR FACE, then assign a stone hatch patttern as required. HTH, Rob
