For white lights, there is a texture under "revit" in the Accurender materials for a luminescent white color.  You may be able to edit that for a luminescent color other than white.

I don't think you can actually create lights that truly emit coloured light i.e neons. so i generally create an object (extrusion sweep along path) and then create a material that has self illumination set high so that it appears to be glowing. i then put a light source behind it... if you create a coloured glass 'bulb' around a light then it will take on the colour as it passes through if that makes sense. I'm hoping that evntualy when they replace the Accurender engine with Mental Ray (Im sure this is coming) then we will be able to create lights as we can in VIZ and Max

Snoof do you know when they are going to put Mental Ray in Revit? Cause renders from AccuRender don't look too good. If Mental Ray would be built in Revit there wouldn't be a problem with exporting etc.

Heh I just can't wait to have MR in Revit Puh

I not too sure when they will put it in as I believe that they have a commitment to use Accureneder for a certain time frame...though there have been a lot of rumours recently.... I can't see them using Accurender for much longer as it makes much more sense for them to use their own render engine as it's better and also cheaper for them to do this, plus it will bring it in-line with all their other products. I'm really hoping that the next release will have it, but guess we will have to wait and see..... I still export my Revit models and bring them into Max to create quality renders... I only use the Accurender engine for quick visuals.
