I made this counter with a recessed keyboard tray and and POS shelf on Friday. Today I decided that it needed to be parametric since in projects we might want to add other millwork underneath. I need the POS, tray and related blocking to stay together as a group. I changed the width dimension to an instance parameter to get the shape handles and thought I was good to go. I put it in a proeject to test it and instead of "stretching" some parts stay left aligned some right and it just slides instead of stretches. I think it has something to do with my aligning but I'm not sure. Help please? Thanks!

Trying to correct my model with the obvious "Edit Work Plane Left/Right" and I grouped my POS components but when I load into project it says "cant make type". I'm stumped.

I looked at your item.. Not quite sure what you are trying to do by designing a desk on a wall and building the wall in to the desk family..I would have the desk family as a wall based casework family. Any way assuming you know what you want I adjusted the family to work. I didn't add all the controlls that are required to make it really usefull but it will work for the most part.

Thank you so much Robin!!! It is relly not a wall based desk as much as it is a counter millwork item. It is similar to a cashwrap at a retail store only we use it in casionos and it's an item we use over and over again. I didn't want our fairly inexperienced users to have to learn to cap the "wall" with a counter (transaction top) after they inserted the millwork ("desk". Maybe not the best approach but it will work. My next step is modeling bars (cocktail). Thanks again for your help!
