I've created stairs for all the floors in my project, but when I view them on plan I can see two sets of stair layouts. There's one for the current plan and one from the floor below (all hidden lines) showing on the same plan. How can I prevent the floor below from showing thru?

under the view visability you can turn off stairs and stringers below or above the cut plane..

Where is the View visibility option located that you are referring to here in regards to the cut plane above or below?

View Visibility or Visibility Graphics (VV) or (VG) is the quick key. It is the main place where you look to turn off or adjust the View Overrides for what ever view you are in. Under the category Stairs and Under Railing you will find sub-categories to turn on and off the visibility of objects above the cut plane.
