Does one have to add the information to each item for it to keynote? If you have meticulously created a structural plan, made of elements which have properties including a type value that identifies it accurately ("W10x29", do you have to select each element and then assign the keynote? there are a daunting number of (smart?) elements in a building, you have to go in a keynote every one to use keynoting??? (there should be...) Is there a master table of keynotes that can be selected in settings>kenoting that already knows what all the elements are (since almost all revit building components already have plenty of info about themselves? ) In the structural example, you have to drill down and scroll thru the entire ASTM schedule to clik and asign the keynote. I am imagining the tedium of doing that for an entire structure. Can anyone tell me an easier way.
