i created a entrance canopy as a wall based generic model, and in plan view i wanted to show a hidden symbolic line so that when i placed the element in my project the hidden line showed up on the plan to indicate there was a canopy there. this doesn't happen. the canopy itself seems to be fine when i bring it into my project but no hidden lines show up when i am in plan view. does anyone know why that would be? i would appreciate any help i could get. thanks, matt

Could be a few things. If you want attach the model for a fix. I would guess that there is a Visability setting or your Model lines are above the cut plane of the view.
