IS THERE ANYWAY TO MAP A TEXTURE JPG TO A FLOOR OR ROOF IN THE FLOOR PLANS OR IN ELEVATIONS. WE DO PROPOSAL PLANS WITH TEXTURES FOR THE CARPET, TILE, ETC AND WE USED TO DO THEM IN AUTOCAD. IS THERE A WAY TO DO THE SAME THING IN REVIT?

I think your best bet is to add images to a sheet of the carpet or tile or wood and just referance them to the plan. It is possible to render a plan with the images defined in the material for the floors but you cant have dimensions or room tags. Good wish list item.

HERES HOW WE HAVE ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE... WE ARE RENDERING THE FLOOR PLAN VEIW IN A CROPPED 3D VEIW ORIENTED TO THE TOP AND THE WE EXPORT THE FLOOR PLAN VEIW TO AUTOCAD, THEN IMPORT IT ON TOP OF OUR RENDERED IMAGE. THEN WE GET THE LOOK OF A PLAN BUT WITH TEXTURES. WOOHOO!
