webb active Joined: Mon, Nov 6, 2006 30 Posts No Rating	I am doing some as-builts and I need to create a column that adheres to a grid line but is not centered on it. anyone have any ideas?

WWHub site moderator\|\|\| Joined: Tue, May 16, 2006 13079 Posts	This is one of the great elements in REVIT. You can put the column in and lock its position relative to the grid or grids. To do that, simply add a dimension from the grid(s) to the column - lock it - then if you don't want the dimension to show, delete it. The constraint will remain unless you have chosen to remove it when you delete the dimension.
